What is DIY Flashing?
No downtime! DIY flashing is when you program the ECU/DDE/DME through the OBD2 port of you vehicle without removal of the ECU/DDE. The DIY flash cost includes an OBD2 cable that you can keep. It allows you to program your car any day/anytime, as long as you have your tune file emailed to you.
When you select this DIY Flash option we will ship you a programming cable and email you the flasher application with instruction. Once you receive the cable you will hook it up to your car with a Windows 8 or newer laptop. Download the flasher application and follow the easy steps in the tutorial to read/write your tune file yourself at your own convenience.
Note: Not all vehicles support DIY flashing, in that case only bench flashing is available/possible. If you're unsure whether or not we can offer DIY OBD2 or remote flashing for your vehicle, please email us with your year/model/vin information so we can help determine that. Usually only the vehicle/ECUs that support the DIY flashing will have that option available to select and checkout.
What is Remote Flashing?
No downtime! Remote flashing is when we program your cars ECU/DDE remotely through the OBD2 port of you vehicle without removal of the ECU/DDE. The remote flash cost includes an OBD2 cable that you can keep. If we run out of stock of the remote flash cables, you can still mail in the ECU/DME/DDE or wait until we have more cables in stock.
When you select this option we will ship you a programming cable with instructions. Once you receive the cable you will hook it up to your car with a windows 8 or 10 laptop. You will need WIFI to connect. The flashing process takes about 15 minutes with good WIFI.
Note: Not all vehicles support remote flashing, in that case only bench flashing is available/possibly. If you're unsure whether or not we can offer remote flashing for your vehicle, please email us with your year/model/vin information so we can help determine that.
What is Bench Flashing?
Remove the vehicle computer which is most commonly called ECU/DME/DDE and mail it in to us for flash. We will create a full back up image of your ECU whenever possible. We then upload our tune of your choice and mail the DDE/ECU back. This is the safest way, as we can have a full back up of the entire ECU content.
At checkout you will select a shipping method, this is for the return shipping back to you. Return shipping is selected at checkout. Don't forget to send our tuning form with your computer! (Tuning form can be found on the product page in the description - it is a PDF file.) This allows us to process the orders faster and more accurately.

Justin
These guys are so awesome - my experience with them was phenomenal! They were super quick addressing my questions and even faster than I expected when delivering the final product. Even when I asked a couple of questions outside of their business hours, I still got a response. I will recommend DUDMD every chance that I get.

Another delighted customer! I've read it many times so ill just copy and paste(I think he's one of the best cost/benefit ratio, if not the best BMW tuners out there.)
Rene
Can’t recommend them enough! After searching around I saw they were well trusted and mentioned with fellow bmw enthusiasts. I had so many questions and they were all answered very quickly! My bmw 535d is exactly where I want it to be, remote tuning was such a breeze and Dmitriy worked with my crazy schedule to make it all happen, stage 1 is the perfect amount of power for this sedan I couldn’t be more pleased.
Thanks again!
